SEBI UPDATE
In exercise of the powers conferred under section 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) read with section 13(8) and section 27(2) of the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI has notified the amendments which may be called as the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2016
They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009, after Chapter VI, the following Chapter shall be inserted,
“CHAPTER VI-A CONDITIONS AND MANNER OF PROVIDING EXIT OPPORTUNITY TO DISSENTING SHAREHOLDERS
