SEBI UPDATE
SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2016
SEBI has further amended the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 whereby in regulation 42, in sub-regulation (4), after clause (g), the following proviso shall be inserted-
“Provided that in the event of under-subscription in the employee reservation portion, the unsubscribed portion may be allotted on a proportionate basis, for a value in excess of two lakhs rupees, subject to the total allotment to an employee not exceeding five lakhs rupees
These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2016.
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
